There is an old adage that says "your character perceives you." With this in mind I would like to share some insight about RESPECT; one of the fundamental principles of etiquette.
When we respect ourselves we will always carry this behavior wherever we go in the world. As we practice doing good for ourselves respectable characteristics will become a part of our daily lifestyle. However, we should be mindful that our gifts and talents are not only for our happiness and success, but for the betterment of the world at large.
There are many subtle ways we can demonstrate self respect which will open doors no man can close. Meeting someone for the first time we notice a person's gestures, haircut, and facial expressions. These are some ways which we communicate to the world without verbalization.
